The opening day came and went and I feel it was quite successful. The weather was less than desirable for Halloween. It rained crazy just about the time trick or treaters started to venture out. Throughout the day we had some visitors, some shoppers and some interested in the classes being offered. We have a phone number now too!!
I am posting the list of classes for November so far:
Beginner Drop Spindle
4 sessions on Mondays Nov. 9, 16, 23 & 30, 6:30-8pm
Make a basic drop spindle and learn how to spin.
Beginner Crochet
3 sessions on Tuesdays Nov. 10, 17 & 24 6-7:30
Learn basic chain & single crochet. Make two projects.
Kid’s Open Day of Sewing $5
November 14th 3 separate classes for 8-12 year olds
Learn about a sewing machine, cutting material and basic stitchery.
Take home a project that YOU made.
10-11:30 am, 12-1:30pm, & 2-3:30pm
Girl Scouts Sewing project
Sewing chef hats & aprons.
Nov. 5th & 19th 6-7:30
Dessert Tasting $5
Nov. 20 6-7:30
Come sample sweet temptations.
Quick breads, candy, pies, cookies & more.
Baked goods will be for sale also to take with you and orders taken for the holidays.
